Hi Bunny, this poem touched me so much. I just moved to Wyoming from Bellville, Texas, which is just down the road from Houston. That is where the Yates children died. It happened just a week before we moved. What a tragedy.

Wonderful job of getting a message across. Let's hope it reaches the one's that would harm a child.
Children are a gift, one we should cherish for the rest of our days. The Teddy page touched me so much and brought tears. Too often we adults forget that a child is tender heart that can be destroyed by an angry heart. My prayers are with you to get better. Never give up hope and faith. I have a sister that was told she had the incurable cancer and only had 3 months to live. That was over 30 years ago and she is in her 70's now. So the miracle that God grants us that are ill and for the one's that are hurting is wonderful. Keep the faith! Keep up with your wonderful efforts so all children will be safe.

Hi Bunny
First of all, I love your site. You have layed it out beautiful and your graphic are terrific.
Your collection of poetry is wonderful along with some great poets which are dear friends of mine. I am so happy you included their work on your site.
I too was born in England (Holt, Norfolk) and came to Canada right after the war.
What can I say Bunny except I think you have done a great site for the kids. I pray to God that you have the
opportunity to add many poems to your beautiful collection and I'll also pray to God to help you with your fight.
I am a Canadian poet and I have not written enough poetry about children (shame on me) but I did manage to find one of the few I have written and I would like to share it with you.

Where Little Feet Tread

From the time they get up in the
morning
And their little feet touch the floor,
It's down to the kitchen for breakfast
Then they're gone and out the door.
Into their world of make believe
Where castles reach the sky,
Friendly giants still exist you know
And muds their favorite pie.
They travel across the deserts
And sail the ocean bed,
They take a walk into outer space
All places where little feet tread.
They leave little foot prints buried in sand
And through rain puddles in the street,
They have safaried into the jungles
Where native drums they got to beat.
They have traveled to see the Queen
Then climbed the Eiffel Tower,
Then they stop in a field of grass
To pick mom's favorite yellow flower.
On their way through Alice's wonderland
They make their way back home,
It's been such a very busy day
Their little legs to tired to roam.
Then it's into the house for dinner
And tell Mom where little feet tread,
Soon they fall asleep at the table
Then Mom tucks them back into bed....
It's a great day for living...At least that's how I see it.
