Due to infringement of copyright, particularly by a site that is very unsuitable
for children I am now forced to enforce my copyright rights and request that any
use of my sites material is only with my written permission, your site may
be suitable but it can open the door for further infringement and increase the
difficulty of enforcing copyright protection, therefore I would like to know who
is using what so I can keep a record. I am sorry I have been forced to
take these steps and thank you for your understanding.
I will not tolerate my work appearing on sites unsuitable for children, much less will I tolerate the recent appearance of my work on a site promoting child abuse and child pornography. I will not rest until this is removed and this site is prosecuted. Why they feel the need to mock a site like mine is as much beyond my compression as the crimes they commit.... They know who they are... I know what they are.
Some of the wonderful poems and graphics I use on my web site are sent to me. Some I have collected along the way. Some are my original work. Where possible I have found the artist and gained their kind permission to use their wonderful work, there are two poems I am still seeking the authors of. ALL of my original works are protected by International Copyright and registered internationally with the appropriate copyright organizations.
I have created this site to share these words with as many people as I can, to raise awareness of the missing, handicapped and abused children in the world and with the hope to spread a little happiness to all who come here and encouragement or comfort to those who may need it. This site is a surf safe environment for children and families, many of the pages on the net that contain these poems have links to sites that are not suitable for children.
If you are the author of either of the poems that say author unknown, or you know the author please contact me.
Sadly I have had some people claiming copyright of the SAME poems after being given permission by the real author and now have to request proof that the original author is the one being given credit.
If there are graphics where credit is not given to the artist, please let me know and I will either give credit where it is due or remove them, where requested. As far as I know all designers are credited for art, the rest came from graphics CDs with no restrictions of use.
I do not take credit for the poems or graphics except for those I create. I feel that credit should be given where credit is due and make every effort to do so.
This site is not commercial (non profit making).
